The thing is it’s not even in the best interest of white women to vote for Ted Cruz!!!! It’s just plains and simple cognitive dissonance
Hey @chelseahandler I am an educated white woman here in Texas and voted for Cruz for several reasons. Cruz was the better candidate for preserving our thriving economy here in Texas, protecting our borders (I believe in legal immigration, not illegal), honoring our military, not socializing our healthcare, etc., etc. Why does this make me an enemy to other women? As somebody who values working hard to better their position in life, why on earth would I vote for a liberal candidate who would end up increasing taxes and increasing our healthcare premiums, which end up hurting my fellow hardworking Texans? As a member of the Hollywood elite it’s clear you don’t know what the average, middle class American values and you’re completely out of touch. We don’t all make millions so we can’t all afford to vote liberal. And before I am judged based solely off of stereotypes, no I am not married so I didn’t vote for my “husband’s interests” as some of your followers’ comments would suggest. I went to public school and did not grow up rich. I simply worked hard to get where I am by earning college scholarships and completing my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am not uneducated, bigoted, racist or any other names the liberal agenda likes to label Republican voters. I believe in the American dream that with hard work success is possible, regardless of your race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I don’t believe in the entitlement mentality this country has adopted and I do NOT believe in handouts. I believe in personal responsibility. And I will vote for the candidate who best embodies these conservative values, every damn time.
@chelseahandler Is it possible that they think that's the best person to represent their state regardless of party? As a liberal and Democrat myself, I can't say that someone voted for the wrong person just because I don't agree with their vote. Maybe their beliefs are more inline with Cruz than O'Rourke. Or maybe they just don't have as much of a liberal minded education like we do. Telling them that they voted wrong in of itself is wrong. Explaining why you think the other candidate was better for women in a way that they can understand is another.
Let me get this straight... in order to be a “sister” I have to vote the way YOU want/think I should vote?!?! That doesn’t sound like a sisterhood I want to be apart of... I think it’s ridiculous that you would even post this! People... WOMEN got out and voted! Why does it matter who they voted for and what their reason is behind it?!?!
This white Texas woman is pissed! I wouldn’t leave Cruz alone with my kids. Just sayin. He’s a liar and a creep. Beto made me feel like my vote counted for the first time since 2008.
Or just let people vote the way they want to vote and quit pushing your personal agenda 🤷🏼♂️😂
Are you insane? Shaming people for voting for someone you don’t like?
Bunch of white, privileged, oil-family women in Texas. They dgaf about anything except their hairdo, their nails, and their $$
AND stop voting for the candidate their husbands tell them is the best person for the job. Do your homework, Debbie!!
