I’m Canadian and you do not want this horseshit. Any country with a socialist healthcare system wishes we could have what you Americans do. Don’t let stupid things like drug prices blind you from how good your system is. Everyone pays their own way. The taxes of me should not pay for the care of you. Look how shitty the Canadian economy is compared to yours. Our dollar is worth 30% less than yours!!! Wake up America, you live in the greatest country on earth. Sincerely, a Canadian who has lived his whole life with socialized healthcare. Sarah is funny but she is NOT smart. Like at all.

It’s not only Greed. Many large pharma have R&D facilities looking for that next cancer treatment (as example). They put tons of money in cancer research. They don’t make any money during that research, and unless they find that next treatment, they lose money for that research. I 100% agree that Americans shouldn’t foot the bill, but if you go to make US meds comparable to the rest of the world’s, then companies will not be able to do research and development.

I have had a choice between doing my insulin or eating. This is not a choice I want my 4 year old t1d son to ever worry about. His life saving insulin and mine average 2,200.00 out of pocket each month. That doesn't include medical supplies that are required to test, administer the insulin or save our lives from a low sugar event. Glucagon, fast acting injectable sugar, is 450.00 per syringe. Btw, this is preexisting so insurance helps us with 45.00 of help a month for needles.

What the FUCK are you talking about? It's the government that sets the moral hazard. They create the rules in which the game is played. They limit free commerce between states and countries, insurances and drugs. You're pointing at the same asshole, fascists, socialists that created the problems in the first place... to solve it? Why does every other free market model work? Free cell phones, buy 1 get 1 free, half off...etc. Bernie is a pinko commie, son of a bitch. 👈 Read your history, kids.

Hell yes. My daughter needs $30,000 treatments twice a month, probably for the rest of her life. The hospital told me I could go on a payment plan. ...
