So sad. My first time I came to Paris I stayed next to it all night. Reading Baudelaire. Tragedy 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Although sad, don’t loose the hope for this magnificent work of architecture to get reconstructed like men did all over Europe after world war 2 many decades ago. It’s sad to see it happen but don’t let it go down the drain. Notre Dame or at least the visual of it will remain for our eyes and souls to enjoy.
I'm a Muslim, I feel bad about this. Such a beautiful thing destroyed, pray for Paris. Hope none got hurt This church was spectacular💔
That is so very beautiful. How lucky (for those of us that got to experience it’s majesty), are. May it rise once again. As all great things do. Prayers can not be lost.
She’s the fabric of the city. That unmistakable feeling of Paris. The religious undertone that’s in the wind. Every step you take she’s with you and without knowing, you’d always end up in front of her. In awe. 🙏
I’m not religious but seeing Notre Dame burning is overwhelming, 856 years of our history are disappearing. I feel like my whole city is burning I’m really sad, this Old Lady was a part of my everyday life. We are orpheans
